My favorite Grey cup memory is short and sweet. From November 2008 when my beloved Calgary Stampeders won the Grey Cup. I was watching in my apartment in Vancouver. I decided not to go out because it’s a city full of BC Lions fans. I decided to watch it at home with a couple snacks and a few adult beverages. The end of the game after the Stampeders won the phone rang, it was my dad. My dad had, had kinda a bad month and all he said was Lise I really needed this. I could feel it in his voice. He’s been a Stampeders fan since he was born. It was a really really special memory. That’s my favorite time.
